An unspoken rule about the crypto community is that they mostly flock to Twitter and Reddit to share news, opinions and jokes. Facebook also has their share of crypto-related groups for like-minded folks, although the dynamics are slightly different. However, Instagram is rarely mentioned in relation to crypto – so we checked to see what’s going on there.

When someone mentions Instagram, a lot of people first think of inspirational quotes, photos of food and artsy scenes. Sure, Instagram is often home to artists and influencers, so how does that relate to crypto? How different is the community there from the ones on Twitter or Reddit?

________

Our first example is not far from the usual Instagram posts about success – wads of cash and guns are a popular, albeit tacky way of showing off how far you’ve come. The profile itself consists of almost solely photos of money with loads of likes. The bio of the poster contains a link that I was frankly too scared to click, because I’m not sure that my antivirus is up to date.

__

Not too far from the previous picture, this one features an inspirational quote, however. The profile seems to be a crypto influencer of some kind with a lot of followers and many similar inspirational quotes, graphs and hands holding Cuban cigars.

Another popular post under the cryptocurrency hashtag, this one leads us to a photo of… some dude who’s got life all figured out and is telling you all about how you have to follow your dreams and think good thoughts to get rich and successful. So, not very different from non-crypto-Instagram anyway.

Keep Smiling. Whether you’re going through good times or bad times it’s important that you keep smiling and staying “feeling good.” Our feelings and emotions are how we connect to the universe and GOD. How we feel attracts the people, situations, and opportunities we need to progress. If you feel down, low, depressed, or sad you’ll keep attracting more and more of those things. Why do you think negative people keep attracting more “bad luck?” Why is it that happy and joyous people keep having “good luck?” Because it’s not luck at all. It’s called universal law. A year or so ago I was in a weird spot. Felt unsure about many things both personal and business wise. I controlled my emotions and feelings though and was able to attract things into my world that made everything much better. Keep your head up, don’t give up, & smile. . . . . #travel #forex #laptoplifestyle #selfemployed #forextrader #cryptocurrency #crypto #business #traveller #potd #entrepreneur #entepreneurship #lifebydesign #workfromwherever #life

A quote that can actually be attributed to someone! This account is not too different from the previous ones, although it does have a lot of funny content.

The Brabus logo looks a tiny little bit like the Bitcoin logo, but that’s where the similarities end. This profile is filled with pictures of cars and villas, with a preference for Mercedes and its close relations. Not enough Lambos for a crypto profile, but let’s give it a pass.

Don’t we all wish things were that easy! Because, you know, if you can afford a burger, you can afford stocks and crypto. Knowing about which lattes you like is obviously the same as knowledge about investing and markets.

__

Again, Instagram never fails to make it look like everyone has their stuff together and is living the ultra-luxurious life straight out of a movie. There should be a footnote saying something like, “Do Your Own Research” or “Don’t Invest in Shitcoins.”

It’s a picture of a laptop with candles on the screen. We’re not sure what it’s supposed to represent, except for a definite downward trend.

__

Certainly a nice sentiment, but what’s with the pride in not being given anything? Help is okay and it’s great to have friends and family to look out for you!

Alternative quote by Terry Pratchett, an English author of fantasy novels: “If you trust in yourself. . .and believe in your dreams. . .and follow your star. . . you’ll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren’t so lazy.”

What we found on crypto Instagram is not very different from your run-of-the-mill Instagram: everyone would like people to believe that they’re having the time of their lives. Since Instagram is a highly visual medium, news and current events are not as quoted as they are on other social media.

However, if you’re in need of courage or just a quick pick-me-up motivational quote, head over there as hashtags related to cryptocurrency are bound to help! Moreover, you can find Cryptonews.com on Instagram, too.
