Donald Trump is hosting a private fundraiser at the Bitcoin Conference 2024, offering various funding options for attendees.

According to a recent report by Bloomberg, the fundraiser in Nashville will feature special guests including the newly announced running mate J.D. Vance, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Tulsi Gabbard, with attendance limited to 100 to 150 donors.

Trump to Indicate Latest Stance on Crypto

The event coincides with Trump’s scheduled speech at the Bitcoin Conference on July 27. The report included an invitation, showing that the options vary from $844,600 for a seat at a roundtable to photo opportunities for $60,000 per person or $100,000 per couple.

The $844,600 fee for a round-table seat marks the highest allowable joint campaign donation to the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee under current campaign finance regulations.

Republican’s Pro-Crypto Attitude

The former President is expected to demonstrate his latest stance on the crypto industry during the Conference. Trump attended a Bitcoin miners gathering in June and voiced his support for Bitcoin and opposition to the central bank digital currency (CBDC).

“Bitcoin mining may be our last line of defense against a CBDC. Biden’s hatred of Bitcoin only helps China, Russia, and the Radical Communist Left,” stated Trump in a post.

“We want all the remaining Bitcoin to be MADE IN THE USA!!! It will help us be ENERGY DOMINANT!!!” said Trump.

Matthew Schultz from CleanSpark, Jason Les and Brian Morgenstern from Riot Platforms, Salman Khan from Marathon Digital, and Amanda Fabiano of Fabiano Consulting attended the gathering.

The Republican Party has expressed a favorable attitude towards cryptocurrency. In a July 12 TV interview with Fox Business, Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis said maintaining Bitcoin in reserve could keep the U.S. dollar strong.

“We know we want the US dollar to remain strong,” said Lummis. “And actually having Bitcoin in reserve can help the US dollar remain strong.”
