Crypto exchange Bitget on Monday launched a Web3 apprentice program, aiming to cultivate the next generation of crypto leaders.

Embedded within Bitget’s corporate social responsibility efforts, this program fosters an environment for aspiring leaders to thrive and contribute fresh ideas to the evolving crypto landscape.

Launching in Europe, the Bitget COO Apprentice Program offers a gateway for aspiring professionals to delve into Web3’s intricacies. Through this three-month paid apprenticeship, participants will be exposed to practical training and mentorship from Bitget’s senior leadership team, including COO Vugar Usi Zade.

Top Performers Earn Exclusive Mentorship Trip to Dubai

This program equips participants with the knowledge and skillset necessary to become impactful contributors to the Web3 landscape’s ongoing development. Furthermore, the program will give them the experience of working remotely in a global corporate structure.

Ultimately, the top three participants will be given an exclusive, fully-funded mentorship trip to Dubai. This opportunity will provide them direct access to industry insights and foster networking connections alongside Bitget’s COO.

Usi Zade said the program is “a launchpad for aspiring Web3 enthusiasts and believers to make their mark on the digital finance revolution.”

Bitget Expands Web3 Opportunities

The Bitget COO Apprentice Program builds upon previous endeavors. This includes the “Blockchain4Her” program launched earlier this year. So far, the company’s initiatives demonstrate its commitment to diversity and inclusion within the blockchain space.

Research indicates that female-led blockchain startups currently receive only 6% of total funding in the sector, highlighting the need for targeted initiatives like “Blockchain4Her.”

Also, the program falls under Bitget’s broader Blockchain4Youth initiative, launched in May 2023 with a five-year commitment of $10m.
