Bitcoin and Ethereum Trend Higher, LUNA Pauses, WAVES Accelerates

 

• Bitcoin price is nearing USD 48,000 again.
• Ethereum moved back above USD 3,450, XRP is holding gains above USD 0.85.
• LUNA trimmed its gains while WAVES moved higher.

Bitcoin price moved above the USD 48,000 level before a minor decline and is currently (11:51 UTC) moving higher above the USD 47,800 level. The current price action suggests chances of more gains above USD 48,500. BTC Is now up more than 1% in a day.

Similarly, most major altcoins might start another increase. ETH could gain momentum if it settled above the USD 3,500 level. XRP might soon go for another upside break above the USD 0.90 resistance. ADA is consolidating above the USD 1.20 level.

Bitcoin price

After a steady move, bitcoin price climbed above the USD 48,000 level earlier today. However, BTC struggled to continue higher and corrected below USD 48,000, before starting moving higher again. 

If there is a close above the USD 48,000 level, the price could accelerate higher. The next major resistance is near the USD 48,800 level, above which the bulls might move toward USD 50,000.

Ethereum price

Ethereum price is rising steadily above the USD 3,400 level and is now up almost 4% in a day. If the bulls remain in action, ETH could soon test the USD 3,500 level. The next key resistance might be near the USD 3,650 level, above which the price could rise to USD 3,720. Any more gains may perhaps send the price towards USD 3,800.

On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 3,350 level. The next major support is near the USD 3,300 level, below which the price might slide towards the USD 3,250 support zone.

ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price

Cardano (ADA) is moving higher above the USD 1.20 pivot level and the bulls might attempt an upside break above USD 1.245. If they succeed, the price might test USD 1.268.

BNB is rising towards the USD 442 resistance level. The next major resistance is near the USD 450 level, above which the price could rise towards the USD 465 level.

Solana (SOL) is consolidating gains near the USD 112 resistance. If there is an upside break, the price may possibly test the USD 120 level. The next key resistance is near the USD 125 level.

DOGE is struggling to clear the USD 0.150 resistance. If there is a downside correction, the price might test USD 0.142. The next major support is seen near the USD 0.140 level.

XRP price is trading above the USD 0.865 support zone. On the upside, the USD 0.90 level is a major barrier for the bulls. A close above USD 0.90 could initiate a move to USD 1.0.

Other altcoins market today

A few altcoins are up over 5%, including LUNA, SHIB, WAVES, FIL, RUNE, AAVE, LRC, KCS, and CRV. Out of these, RUNE gained 14% and cleared the USD 12 level. Meanwhile, LUNA corrected lower after hitting its new all-time high of USD 105.91 (per Coingecko) earlier today and is now trading below USD 104. It’s still up 10% in a day. At the same time, WAVES extended its gains to more than USD 52 and is now up 63% in a day.

To sum up, bitcoin price is positioned above the USD 47,000 pivot level. If BTC settles above USD 48,000, it might open the doors for a move towards the USD 50,000 resistance zone.
