Popular non-fungible token (NFT) collection Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is launching a three-part film series with major crypto exchange Coinbase, while Snoop Dogg is collaborating with NFT project Clay Nation to launch a new collection on Cardano (ADA).

Coinbase’s official Twitter account teased the film trilogy on Monday, saying that they are “creating an interactive three-part film featuring” the BAYC and Apecoin communities.

In a follow-up tweet, the exchange listed three steps guiding BAYC NFT holders on how they can have their NFTs featured in the film.

“We’re stoked that Coinbase is making a film series featuring the BAYC community,” BAYC’s official Twitter handle said, detailing that Bored Ape NFTs will be featured in the first part of the film while Mutants will be featured in the second part.

The film series is being called “The Degen Trilogy,” and its first part will debut at NFT NYC, an annual NFT event that takes place in New York, USA, between June 20 and June 23, according to a report by CNET.

“We have an incredible group of directors, writers, and animators behind this film,” Coinbase reportedly said. “We can’t tell you who they are just yet, but you’ve seen what they’ve done before.”

The report also claimed that the owner of a BAYC NFT, if chosen to be auditioned for the film, will receive a USD 10,000 licensing fee, paid in bitcoin (BTC) or Yuga Labs‘ own Ape Coin. Yuga Labs is the team behind the BAYC.

Meanwhile, NFT project Clay Nation has announced a partnership with the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg and crypto investor Champ Medici in a bid to bring users “iconic collectibles, unreleased music, & limited edition ‘pitches.’”

Clay Nation is an NFT collection composed of 10,000 digital assets with “algorithmically assembled, handcrafted” clay traits. Each NFT is unique and is stored on the Cardano blockchain.

In late March, Clay Nation first teased the collaboration in a video featuring Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, Snoop Dogg, and Champ Medici.

And earlier this month, Hoskinson and Snoop Dogg “met in an epic” Twitter space to discuss music, NFTs, the Cardano ecosystem, and crypto.

Meanwhile, Clay Nation also has its own metaverse project called Clayverse, which is under development.
