Bitcoin is trading at $108,000, up 1% in the Asian session as financial anxiety buys. “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author Robert Kiyosaki said a 1929 style crash would happen after the US credit downgrade. He cited rising interest rates, debt and student loan crisis as triggers.

His advice: own Bitcoin, gold and silver as protection.

Economist Jim Rickards said the $1.6 trillion student debt was a ticking time bomb. Kiyosaki’s endorsement continues to make Bitcoin a hedge, attracting institutional and retail buyers.

India & NYC in the Crypto Spotlight

In India, the Supreme Court has asked the government to create a law for cryptocurrencies. Justice Surya Kant said taxing digital assets like Bitcoin at 30% without clarity is a contradiction.

The court’s intervention could speed up the rollout of supportive rules and unlock a new wave of adoption in one of the world’s largest untapped markets.

Meanwhile in New York, Mayor Eric Adams launched a Crypto Advisory Council at the NYC Crypto Summit. The goal: make New York the “crypto capital of the continent”.

The council will explore crypto payments for services and blockchain backed documentation, backed by firms like Scale and Figure. This mainstream adoption of blockchain could boost market sentiment and long term Bitcoin legitimacy.

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: Rising Wedge on the Hourly

Technically, Bitcoin has broken above $107,112 and is heading towards $108,200 the upper trendline of the rising wedge. While this wedge is bullish it can also be a reversal pattern.

The 50-EMA ($105,710) is the support and the MACD is strong with a bullish crossover.

Candles are strong with minimal upper wicks – aggressive buying. But watch out for reversal signs like shooting star or spinning top.

Trade Setup:

• Bullish: Break above $108,200 targets $109,043-$110,072.
• Bearish: Drop below $106,000 may retest $104,259.
• Neutral Zone: $106,000-$108,200.
