Simon has a BA in History & Archaeology and an MA in Philosophy from King’s College London. His interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain emerged from his many years spent writing about technology, while he has also covered finance, politics and music over the span of his career as a freelance journalist.

Outside of journalism, Simon enjoys swimming, cycling, music and literature. He lives with his family in Brighton, UK.
