Juan M. Villaverde

Juan M. Villaverde is the leader of the Weiss Ratings team, responsible for creating the Weiss Cryptocurrency Ratings. He plays a crucial role in developing sub-models for calculating the Cryptocurrency Technology Index and Fundamental Index.

Since 2012, Juan has focused on analyzing cryptocurrencies, possessing extensive knowledge in this field. One of his most important discoveries was a long-term Bitcoin boom-bust cycle made up of four 320-day cycles, composed of four 80-day cycles. Juan built the world’s first crypto timing model based on cycles, and is the lead architect of the Weiss crypto ratings model.

His contributions to Cryptonews and other significant crypto platforms have further positioned him as an expert on cryptocurrency ratings models.
