Sam Cooling is a financial journalist with a focus on cryptocurrency market news, based in London - his former publications include Yahoo Finance and Coin Rivet.

With a Master’s Degree in Development Management from the London School of Economics, Sam Cooling has previously worked as a Technology Consultant for The Fairtrade Foundation and as a Junior Research Fellow for the Defence Academy of the UK. He has traded cryptocurrency since 2020.

Sam Cooling's passion for the crypto space is fuelled by the potential of decentralization technology to empower marginalized communities across the world - with a special interest in blockchain-powered agricultural supply chains, financial transparency, and banking the unbanked.

Outside of crypto, Sam’s main interest is supporting the development of small NGOs focused on poverty reduction in Zambia.
