Bitstamp is doing two giveaways for the launch of Avalanche. In both cases, you will receive AVAX (Avalanche’s native token). The AVAX token will be listed with certain degrees of use on the exchange in a timeline that includes 4 steps. We’ll list those steps and their corresponding dates below:

Thursday, March 10th, 2022 – The AVAX token is listed on Bitstamp. You are able to deposit, withdraw, and transfer the token at this time. No trading is available, yet.
Friday, March 11th, 2022 8:00 AM UTC – The AVAX token is available to post orders, but the orders will not be matched or fulfilled until a later time.
Friday, March 11th, 2022 12:00 PM UTC – Limit-only mode enabled. This means that you will only be able to fulfill limit orders at this time.
Once the limit orders are all closed, full functionality will be available to everyone with AVAX.
The Good Stuff: AVAX Giveaway Promos:
There are two giveaway promotions for the AVAX token being run by Bitswap in celebration of its joining the exchange. The two giveaways hold a total of USD 100,000.00 for both new and existing users – all participants must be verified through the exchange.
The first giveaway will be a sign up and deposit prize Pool. Upon signing up as a new user with Bitstamp and completing verification, you can deposit AVAX onto the exchange. You will then be entered into a prize pool containing USD 25,000. This is for the first verified 1,000 users. The USD 25,000 will be distributed in equal shares of USD 25 worth of AVAX between verified, new users who AVAX at the end of the promotion. Hurry, as those 1,000 spots will go fast!
The second giveaway involves a Trade-to-Win model. This is for any verified user of Bitstamp, new or existing. The USD 75,000 prize Pool. The prize pool will be for trading pairs AVAX/USD and AVAX/EUR. Traders who produce volume during the giveaway using the trading pair are entered for a prize worth up to USD 5,000 in AVAX. The amount of AVAX you can win in this giveaway is calculated by the trading volume of one of the two pairs in the promotion related to the total trading volume of AVAX.
