NEO Eco Fund invests in Lympo: “Lympo holds tremendous potential to revolutionize the health and fitness industry”

NEO Eco Fund, a VC fund managed by NGC, has invested in Lympo – a prominent blockchain startup, building a platform to reward people for exercising and leading healthier lives.

NGC is a professional investment platform co-founded by key members of the NEO Blockchain community and traditional capital market veterans, and has currently two funds under its management – NGC Fund I and NEO Eco Fund. NGC Fund I has been an early and major supporter of such blockchain leaders as Ontology, Zilliqa, CertiK and Oasis Labs, while NEO Eco Fund plays a vital role in fostering the growth of the NEO ecosystem.

According to NGC Founding partner Wayne Zhu, Lympo was chosen by NGC as the first blockchain company offering genuinely cutting-edge technological innovation to the health and fitness sector:

“Lympo has a superb team of passionate entrepreneurs, marketers, tech talents and fitness professionals. We were inspired by the immense determination the company is showing and the speed at which they are achieving their goals. NGC believes this cooperation will be fruitful and ultimately help Lympo succeed in its journey.”

Lympo CEO Ada Jonuse, meanwhile, hails the newly found partners as a significant milestone for the company:

“We are honored that NGC has recognized Lympo as the leader in applying blockchain technology to connect and enable health and fitness enthusiasts all around the world. As a company, Lympo has many ambitious goals, and we greatly appreciate the trust and enthusiasm that NGC has shown to Lympo.”

What is Lympo?

Lympo, a leading blockchain company, is building a digital platform with an aim to reward people for exercising and leading healthier lives. With the help of blockchain technology and fitness gamification, users will be rewarded through the Lympo app for finishing fitness challenges and tasks with LYM tokens – a specially crafted cryptocurrency which will be used to purchase sports and wellness products or services.

In 2018 Lympo established partnerships with one of the most recognizable female athletes in the world – Caroline Wozniacki – and the Dallas Mavericks – a professional basketball team, part of the NBA. Currently, the company is expanding into the US and the Asian markets.

The Lympo App will house fitness challenges set up by coaches, businesses and health industry players, that users will be able to join and be rewarded with LYM tokens upon completion.

It will connect various fitness and wellness data tracking apps and wearables, helping to confirm the legitimacy of provided data and to offer personalized advice.

The app will also act as a hub for all health and fitness related activities, including the ability for users to communicate with coaches directly via integrated messaging, to crowdfund independent sports events, enjoy personalized health and activity data analytics and receive customized offers from health-related businesses. All of this – in one convenient platform.
