Matic neemt ‘66%-route’ naar beneden, Binance onderzoekt deze ‘nachtmerrie’

En nu heeft zelfs Binance, verantwoordelijk voor het initiële ruilaanbod van dit project, onderzoekt de zaak.
Op pixeltijd (05:20 UTC) wordt MATIC verhandeld op circa $0,02 en is het het afgelopen uur met 18% gestegen, nadat eerder vandaag $0,012 werd aangeraakt. De prijs daalt met 49% per dag, waardoor de wekelijkse winst wordt gewist (nu -32%). MATIC is nog steeds met 20% gestegen in een maand.

We will post a detailed analysis and we will come out stronger than ever from this evident manipulation," reageerde Sandeep Nailwal, mede-oprichter en COO van het bedrijf.
Changpeng Zhao, CEO van Binance, zei dat hun team de gegevens nog steeds onderzoekt, "maar het is al duidelijk dat het MATIC-team er niets mee te maken heeft."
"A number of big traders panicked, causing a cycle. Going to be a tough call on how much an exchange should interfere with people’s trading," voegde hij eraan toe.
Niet iedereen is echter overtuigd van deze verklaring.
"This narrative that a number of big traders panicked is absolute horshit. I respectfully encourage you to show some kind of data that at least suggests this," zei crypto trader Nick Core.
