Giám đốc điều hành (CEO) của Ripple – Brad Garlinghouse vừa trả lời với Bloomberg rằng, công ty này nhìn thấy cơ hội phát hành stablecoin trên toàn cầu, đặc biệt là Nhật Bản.<\/strong><\/h4>

Trong cuộc phỏng vấn với Bloomberg, ông Garlinghouse cho biết, Ripple-USD stablecoin (RUSD) sẽ được triển khai khi luật pháp Mỹ cho phép.<\/p>

“Tất cả những gì Ripple làm đều tuân thủ quy định và được cấp phép. Kỳ vọng của chúng tôi là tiến nhanh nhất có thể và chúng tôi cảm thấy lạc quan”, ông Garlinghouse cho hay.<\/p>

Trước kia, CEO của Ripple từng nói stablecoin của công ty có thể được triển khai tại Mỹ “trong một vài tuần”, nhưng giờ ông cho rằng, nó thậm chí còn có thể được sử dụng trên toàn thế giới.<\/p>

“Nhật Bản đã phê duyệt một vài quy định từ năm ngoái để có hiệu lực trong năm nay. Các quy trình đang được hoàn tất để chúng tôi có thể phát hành stablecoin tại đây nữa”, ông Garlinghouse hé lộ.<\/p>

CEO của Ripple nhận định Nhật Bản là một thị trường lành mạnh mặc dù có phần bảo thủ. Thêm vào đó, cơ quan lập pháp Nhật Bản cũng đã ban hành khung pháp lý để quản lý các loại tiền điện tử. Ông cho rằng, nhiều quốc gia đang đi đầu về tiền điện tử và Nhật Bản là một trong số đó. Đây không phải là điều chứng tỏ sự bảo thủ mà đó là sự tuân thủ quy định cần có.<\/p>

Ripple hiện đang tập trung vào kế hoạch RUSD và một token được neo giá theo đồng yen sẽ chỉ là vấn đề thời gian. Tại Mỹ, công ty này có mối quan hệ rất tốt với Cơ quan Dịch vụ Tài chính New York (NYDFS). Ripple cũng đã mua lại Standard Custody, đơn vị nắm giữ giấy phép ủy thác của NYDFS.<\/p>

Trong bài phỏng vấn, ông Garlinghouse cũng khẳng định công ty sẽ làm việc với các nhà lập pháp và đối tác kỹ càng trước khi chính thức ra mắt stablecoin của mình.<\/p>

So sánh XRP và RUSD<\/h2><\/span>

Ripple đã sử dụng token gốc XRP như cầu nối để chuyển tiền xuyên biên giới giữa các quốc gia. Giá trị của nó hoàn toàn tuân theo cung cầu thị trường nên có thể tăng giảm theo thời gian.<\/p>

Tuy nhiên, công ty đã nhìn thấy cơ hội mở rộng hoạt động kinh doanh lớn trong lĩnh vực stablecoin, hiện đang có vốn hóa lên tới 170 tỷ USD. Thị trường này thậm chí có thể vươn tới vốn hóa 2.000 đến 3.000 tỷ USD trong vòng 5 năm tới. Đó là lý do RUSD ra đời.<\/p>

“Chúng tôi thấy cơ hội tham gia thị trường stablecoin khi nó tiếp tục phát triển. Chúng tôi luôn tìm kiếm những gì tốt nhất cho khách hàng và từ đó quyết định cho ra đời stablecoin của riêng mình trong năm nay”, ông Garlinghouse nhấn mạnh.<\/p>

Theo kế hoạch từng được Ripple công bố, RUSD sẽ được bảo chứng 100% bởi USD, trái phiếu chính phủ Mỹ với kỳ hạn ngắn cùng các tài sản “tương đương tiền mặt” khác.
