The Killer App: Bananas on the Blockchain?

In this talk, Bitcoin educator Andreas M. Antonopoulos points to the killer apps in the open blockchain ecosystem: sound money and governance. He also addresses arguments by finance tycoons that they "don't need cryptocurrencies" as fundamentally elitist, failing to consider the broader needs of the other six billion (or even their butlers).

This talk was delivered for the Coinscrum meetup on June 13th 2019 at Monzo Bank HQ in London:

33:15 - Will transaction fees ever be $100, as price increases?
39:09 - Does proof-of-work pollute the planet?
41:48 - Are you concerned about Facebook's GlobalCoin?
48:58 - Are SegWit and Lightning the best scaling solution?
53:42 - Will the U.S. or U.K. ban Bitcoin? What will happen?
57:23 - To what extent do we have a right to financial privacy?
