Lyn Alden: The Average Person Is Still Not Following Bitcoin
In this video, Jay Martin, CEO of Cambridge House International, interviews macroeconomist Lyn Alden of Lyn Alden Investment Strategy on contrarian investing.
They also talk about the current macro landscape, contrarian bets like gold and bitcoin and the investment outlook for 2021.
According to her, in the long term, there are trillions in negative-yielding bonds on the market which leaves more room for precious metals to run. Additionally, she reveals that one possible outcome is that as the economy recovers, there will be reflation and the Federal reserve might attempt some form of yield curve control.
Besides, her research indicates that Google search volume on Bitcoin has not picked up as it did in late 2018 despite other positive indicators and BTC price approaching all-time highs.
The interview originally streamed on November 23, 2020, at Cambridge Gold Summit 2020.
