The Moral Case For Bitcoin – Jimmy Song

In this presentation, Bitcoin educator and entrepreneur Jimmy Song explains the difference between natural law and positivism, individual liberty versus the elitist vision of a society, and fiat versus bitcoin.

Jimmy presents a case in which Bitcoin addresses and restores natural individual rights and liberties back to people because "fiat has corrupted character in ways that we do not fully appreciate."

"The moral case for Bitcoin is that fiat is a positivist money - its a tool of the state. And to be able to opt-out of that is a moral imperative," he summed up his talk.

The presentation was given at the BitBlockBoom 2020 conference, which took place on August 27 - 30, 2020 in Dallas, Texas.
