Jerome Powell on Development of Central Bank Digital Currency

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell held a press conference after the central bank wrapped up its two-day policy meeting on Wednesday. When asked about the development of central bank digital currency (CBDC), he said that the FED is continuing to weigh costs and benefits of having a public digital currency.
