Bitcoin and the Coming Infrastructure Inversion

According to Bitcoin educator and entrepreneur, Andreas M. Antonopoulos, we are about to witness the greatest infrastructure inversion the world has ever seen, as banking and finance will be changed forever. Open blockchains and bitcoin will revolutionize the way finance is delivered in the next 10-15 years the way automobiles revolutionized transportation, electricity changed the way we light and heat homes, and the internet transformed our communications.

So, what is Infrastructure Inversion, and what does it have to do with Bitcoin?

Andreas explains that at first, disruptive technologies exist in a world created for the technologies they are about to replace. As such, the new technology must operate in a world designed for old technology until the infrastructure is built to support the new technology. And then the infrastructure inversion happens, where the old technology is rebuilt on the new infrastructure, but the new infrastructure can also support brand new disruptive inventions.
