Bitcoin: A Defense Against Tyranny by Stephen Cole

In this presentation, Orange Country Bitcoin Network founder and investor Stephen Cole talks about Bitcoin as a defense against tyranny.

Stephen draws historical parallels between Bitcoin's resistance to seizure and scarcity and living in the hills, rice fields and fiat money, and bitcoin and "escape crops."

According to him, we're living in a transitional phase between the industrial and information age, and it is market forces and not political majorities that compel societies to reconfigure themselves in ways that public opinion does not comprehends nor welcomes.

"Fiat money, fiat food, fiat education... what if we have fiat freedom? What could an alternative look like?"
