Ethereum’un proof-of-stake’e (PoS) geçişini artık geride bırakırken, daha fazla insan ESG odaklı yatırımcıların hakkında daha fazla bilgi sahibi oldukça ETH’ye akın edeceklerini söyleyerek ağın çevresel faydalarından söz ediyor.<\/p>

Ethereum Vakfı’na göre Ethereum’un proof-of-work’ten proof-of-stake’e geçişinin (Merge olarak bilinir) ardından ağın enerji kullanımı öncesine kıyasla %99.95 azalacak. Buna ek olarak Ethereum’un kurucu ortağı Vitalik Buterin de perşembe günü bir tweet<\/a> ile “Merge dünyanın elektrik tüketimini %0.2 azaltacak” dedi.<\/p>

Buna karşılık Bitcoin konsensüs mekanizması olarak daha enerji yoğun olan proof-of-work sistemini kullanmaya devam ediyor.<\/p>

Beklendiği gibi Ethereum’un önemli ölçüde daha az enerji kullanma vaadi enerji kullanımının ve özellikle karbon emisyonlarının azaltılmasının önemli olduğunu düşünen ESG yatırımcılarına cazip geliyor.<\/p>

Web3 Labs CEO’su ve Kurucusu Conor Svensson’a göre Ethereum’un proof-of-stake’e geçişi Bitcoin ve proof-of-work’te kalan diğer ağları yatırımcılar için daha az cazip hale getirebilir.<\/p>
