Ethereum, proof-of-work (PoW) konsensüs mekanizmasından proof-of-stake’e (PoS) geçiş hazırlığının son aşamalarında. Merge olarak adlandırılan bu olayın Ethereum blok zincirinin Ether (ETH) tokeni için çeşitli faydalarının olması bekleniyor.<\/p>

Chainalysis’in raporuna<\/a> göre Merge’ün faydalarından biri, Ether (ETH) staking işlemlerine ilginin yeniden canlanmasıdır. Bunun nedeni ETH staking işlemlerinin halihazırda son derece popüler olmasıdır. Ethereum 2’ye 30 milyar doların üzerinde ETH stake edilmiş durumda ve Ethereum şu anda PoS’a geçmemişken bile stake edilen tutar açısından en büyük blok zinciri konumunda.<\/p>

PoW’un artık geride kalması ve daha çevre dostu olan PoS’un benimsenmesi Ethereum ekosistemindeki kullanıcıları rahatlatacağı için PoS’a geçildiğinde staking işlemlerinin daha cazip hale gelmesi bekleniyor.<\/p>

Buna ek olarak Merge sonrası gerçekleşmesi beklenen güncellemeler varlıklarını stake edenlerin varlıklarını kilitlemek yerine, stake edilen ETH’lerini istedikleri zaman çekmelerini sağlayacak. Bu %10-%15’lik tahmini APY’ye ek olarak varlıklarını stake edenler için daha fazla likidite anlamına gelecek.<\/p>

Blockchain analitik hizmetleri sağlayıcısına göre çevresel etkinin azalması ve staking ile elde edilen yatırım gelirlerinin artması başta olmak üzere tüm bunların kurumsal yatırımcıları çekmesi bekleniyor. On-chain verileri kurumsal alıcıların (1 milyon doların üzerinde ETH stake eden cüzdanlar) istikrarlı bir şekilde arttığını gösteriyor.<\/p>

Raporda, “Birlikte ele alındığında bu değişiklikler Merge ile başlayarak Ether’i elde tutmak ve stake etmek için daha cazip bir varlık haline getirecek. Staking işlemlerinin artmasına ek olarak kurumsal yatırımcıların da Ethereum staking faaliyetlerine başlamasını ya da artırmasını bekleyeceğiz” denildi.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Merge sonrası Ether için riskler devam ediyor <\/h2><\/span>

Birtakım faydalarının olması beklense de kripto topluluğunda Merge’ün ETH için ne gibi riskleri olacağı konusunda farklı görüşler var. Ethereum blok zincirinin bölünmesine yol açabilecek bir madenci isyanı olasılığının yanı sıra, birleşme süreci yanlış giderse kullanıcı fonlarında 50 milyar dolardan fazla tutan dApp’lerin tehlikede olabileceği gerçeği konuşulan risklerden bazılarıdır.<\/p>

Ancak Ethereum’un kurucu ortağı ve blockchain şirketi Consensys’in kurucusu Joe Lubin, bu riskleri önemsiz gibi lanse etti. Time<\/a>‘a konuşan Lubin, bir hard fork gerçekleşse bile bunun geçici olacağını ve yükseltmenin sorunsuz bir şekilde gerçekleşmesini beklediğini söyledi.<\/p>

Lubin, “En azından geçici bir fork’un muhtemel olduğunu düşünüyorum: Ether<\/a>‘i daha hızlı hale getirmek için bir fırsat var ve daha pek çok fırsat bulunuyor.
