Ethereum’un çekirdek geliştiricisi Preston Van Looh’a göre Ethereum Merge’ün bu yıl Ağustos’ta gerçekleşme ihtimali var. Loon ayrıca Merge’ün bir sonraki zorluk bombası patlamadan önce tamamlanması için çalışıldığını söyledi.<\/p>

Permissionless <\/i>adlı konferansta ‘Merge’ün ne zaman gerçekeleşeceğine dair bir soru sorulan Van Loon, Ethereum Vakfı<\/strong>‘nda araştırmacı olan Justin Drake’in de yer aldığı panele şunları söyledi.<\/p>

Zorluk bombası, madencileri Merge’ün ardından mevcut proo-of-work (PoW) zincirinde kalmaktan caydırmak ve geliştiricileri PoS’a geçiş için çalışmaya teşvik etmek içindir.<\/p>

Daha önce Merge’ün bu yıl Mayıs ya da Haziran aylarında gerçekleşmesi bekleniyordu<\/a>. Zorluk bombası ertelenmeden<\/a> önce Ethereum geliştiricisi Tim Beiko şunları söylemişti: “Kodun oluşturulmasından ana ağdaki birleşmeyi görene kadar geçecek dört ayın iyi bir zaman dilimi olduğunu düşünüyoruz. Kodun Şubat ayına kadar oluşturulma ihtimali olduğunu düşünüyoruz (elbette pek çok bilinmezlik var!), bu nedenle zorluk bombasını buna dayanarak kurmaya karar verdik.”<\/p>

Beiko, geliştiricilerin Merge için hazır olmaması durumunda zorluk bombasının tekrar ertelenebileceğini de sözlerine ekledi.<\/p>

Yine de geliştiriciler daha önce Haziran ayındaki zorluk bombasını ertelememeye karar vermişti. Bu ayın başlarında Fortune’a konuşan Beiko, geliştiricilerin gerekirse zorluk bombasını dört hafta içinde erteleyebileceklerini ve sürecin zor olmadığını, ancak bunun şimdilik “geliştiricilere daha fazla iş çıkaracağını, bu nedenle herkesin en büyük isteği göz önünde bulundurulduğunda zorluk bombasını ertelemeden birkaç hafta atlatılabilirse buna değebileceğini” söyledi<\/a>.<\/p>

Bu arada yatırım şirketi Galaxy Digital<\/strong>‘de araştırma görevlisi olan Christine Kim, Nisan ayının sonlarında geliştiricilerin muhtemelen “yanlış bilgiler aktaran medyanın eleştirilerine, histerisine ve birleşmenin olmayacağına ya da zorluk bombası Aralık ayına ertelendiği için o zaman gerçekleşeceğine dair söylemlerine maruz kalmak istemediklerini” söyledi.<\/p>
