Ethereum çekirdek geliştiricisi Tim Beiko’ya göre, Merge olarak da bilinen mevcut Ethereum Mainnet’inden beacon chain proof-of-stake (PoS) sistemine geçiş artık yakın.<\/p>

Beiko, yakın tarihli bir blog yazısında dünyanın ikinci en büyük projesi PoS’a geçmeden önce gerçekleşmesi gereken aşamalardan bahsetti<\/a>.<\/p>

İlk önce Ethereum’un birkaç sorunsuz mainnet Shadow Fork’una ihtiyacı var. Bildirildiği üzere Ethereum geliştiricileri Nisan ayının başlarında mevcut testnet’leri ve geliştiricilerin mainnet üzerindeki varsayımlarını test etmek için tasarlanmış ilk shadow fork’u uyguladı.<\/p>

Shadow fork fikrini öne süren<\/a> Ethereum geliştiricisi Marius van de Wijden, ilk shadow fork’u “büyük bir başarı” olarak nitelendirmişti. Ancak bazı sorunlar olduğunu da kaydetmişti.<\/p>

Örneğin, Ethereum tabanlı yazılım sistemleri sağlayıcısı Nethermind<\/strong> ve Java tabanlı açık kaynaklı Ethereum istemcisi Hyperledger Besu<\/strong> geçişte durdu. Ayrıca gas limitiyle ilgili bir sorun da vardı.<\/p>

Beiko, ilk shadow fork ile ilgili çeşitli sorunlar olsa da “ikinci mainnet shadow fork’unun (MSF2) neredeyse mükemmel gittiğini” söyleyerek ekledi:<\/p>

Hive<\/strong> adlı ilk test paketi, farklı istemcilerin iletişim kurmak için kullandığı yeni Motor Uygulama Programlama Arayüzlerini (API’ler) test etmeye yardımcı olabilir. Geliştiriciler, Hive’ı geliştirmenin yanı sıra blockchain altyapısının uçtan uca test edilmesine yönelik bir platform olan Kurtosis<\/strong> ile birlikte çalışarak “istemciler arasında uygulama sorunlarını bulmak ve çeşitli ağ sağlığı ölçümlerini izlemek” için çalışacak.<\/p>

Bu ikisinin yanı sıra geliştiricilerin olası sorunları tespit etmesine yardımcı olmak için istemci, araştırma ve test ekipleri tarafından oluşturulan uzun bir test araçları listesi de var. Bunlar, fuzzer’ları, hatalı blok oluşturucuları, hata ayıklama API’lerini ve daha fazlasını içerir.<\/p>

Üçüncü ve son aşama, Merge’ü mevcut halka açık testnet’ler, yani Ropsten, Goerli ve Sepolia genelinde dağıtmak olacaktır. Halka açık testnetler, Ethereum<\/a> ekosisteminde daha geniş bir koordinasyon gerektirdiği için ana ağ için bir birleşme tarihi belirlemeden önce son bir gereklilik olacaktır.<\/p>

Beiko, “Ve bu kadar! Bu gerçekleştiğinde ve birkaç hafta istikrarlı kaldıklarını gördükten sonra mainnet’e geçmeye hazır olacağız!” dedi.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>

Merge için henüz kesin bir tarih olmadığını belirtmek gerekiyor. Ancak Beiko Nisan ayının ortalarında büyük ağ yükseltmesinin Haziran’dan birkaç ay sonra tamamlanabileceğini söylemişti<\/a>.<\/p>

Beiko, o zamanlar Twitter’da yaptığı açıklamada “Haziranda değil, muhtemelen ondan birkaç ay sonra gerçekleşecek. Henüz kesin bir tarih yok ama Ethereum’da proof-of-work’ün (PoW) son kısmındayız” demişti.<\/p>
