ก่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลง GBTC ถือครอง BTC อยู่ที่ประมาณ 620,000 BTC และปัจจุบันลดลงเหลือประมาณ 552,000 BTC<\/p>

Greco กล่าวว่าการเทขายของ GBTC มีสาเหตุหลักมาจาก 2 ปัจจัย คือ<\/p>

ประการแรก คือ ลูกค้าที่ถือหุ้น GBTC ถูกจำกัดไม่ให้ไถ่ถอน และสามารถขายได้ในตลาดรองเท่านั้น เนื่องจากโครงสร้างของผลิตภัณฑ์สิ่งนี้ส่งผลให้ลูกค้าจำนวนมากต้องถือเหรียญเป็นระยะเวลานานโดยไม่มีทางเลือกในการขาย เว้นแต่ว่า พวกเขาเต็มใจที่จะขายในราคาที่ลดลงเป็นอย่างมาก<\/p>

ประการที่สอง คือ ค่าธรรมเนียมการจัดการที่กำหนดโดย Grayscale (1.5%) สูงมากเมื่อเทียบกับคู่แข่งส่วนใหญ่ (0.2%\/0.3%) ทำให้นักลงทุนบางรายถอนเงินลงทุนจาก GBTC เพื่อหาประโยชน์จากผลกำไร หรือนำเงินไปลงทุนใหม่ใน ETF ที่มีต้นทุนคุ้มค่ามากขึ้น<\/p>
