Nouriel Roubini
Nouriel Roubini (born in 1958) is an American economist, best known in the crypto community as the Bitcoin skeptic who often makes news based on his strongly voiced opinions against cryptos. The predictions he makes about the future of cryptocurrencies earned him the nickname of Dr. Doom.
Roubini is the professor at the New York University's Stern School of Business. He received his Ph.D. in international economics from Harvard University.
Roubini claims that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies do not deserve to be designated as such. According to him, these are not currencies by virtue of not being unit ofs account or scalable means of payment. His best known quarrels with the crypto celebrities include
