Согласно ethernodes.org<\/a>, Geth – самый популярный клиент Ethereum, на который приходится 74,63% сетевых узлов. Из них более 72% используют более старые версии клиента, а это означает, что ошибка может затронуть примерно 54% узлов Ethereum. Адрес<\/a> также был идентифицирован<\/a> компанией The Block Research как адрес, использовавший ошибку.<\/p>

По словам<\/a> разработчика ядра Ethereum Тима Бейко, пулы Flexpool<\/strong>, BTC.com<\/strong> и Binance<\/strong> «похоже, майнились не на той версии Geth». Первый, видимо, был тем, кто сообщил о проблеме, в то время как разработчики «связываются с двумя последними», – сказал Бейко.<\/p>

Однако Мартин Свенде, руководитель службы безопасности Ethereum Foundation<\/strong>, сказал, что «большинство майнеров уже были обновились, и правильная цепочка также является самой длинной (канонической)».<\/p>

Между тем, Polygon (ранее – Matic Network) заявила, что большинство валидаторов уже обновили до последней версии Geth \/ Bor в основной сети Polygon PoS (доказательство доли владения). «Команда пока следит за сетью», – сказали<\/a> они.<\/p>

Ошибка была первоначально обнаружена<\/a> примерно 24 августа 2021 года, и команда Go Ethereum немедленно поделилась ею и признала ее. Sentnl, команда, обнаружившая ошибку во время аудита Telos EVM, заявила, что она была «высокой степени серьезности», и потребовала «экстренного исправления».<\/p>

24 августа разработчики Go Ethereum выпустили патч, но он работает только для тех, кто с тех пор обновил свой узел.<\/p>
