Solana Crossroads Conference Returns to Istanbul in April 2025

Solana’s Growth and Industry Recognition

The event takes place as Solana marks its fifth anniversary in March 2025. Over the past five years, Solana has seen significant growth, surpassing some of Ethereum’s key metrics. In November 2024, Solana’s decentralized exchange (DEX) volume reached $129 billion, exceeding Ethereum’s all-time high of $117 billion in May 2021.

Solana’s mainstream recognition has expanded, particularly following U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement that the network would be included in a strategic crypto reserve plan. Institutional interest has also grown, with Franklin Templeton, which manages $1.2 trillion in assets, identifying Solana as a key blockchain for AI applications and real-world assets.
