CoinGecko Unveils Brand Refresh and New Mascots on 11th Anniversary

CoinGecko, a major independent cryptocurrency data aggregator, has introduced a new brand identity to mark its 11th anniversary. The update includes a redesigned logo, a vibrant color scheme, and a modern design approach aimed at its main platform and decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator, GeckoTerminal.

The new branding aims to present a more user-friendly and forward-looking image while maintaining the platform’s commitment to accessible and accurate crypto data. CoinGecko’s CEO and co-founder, TM Lee, described the brand refresh as a step towards building for the decentralized future, emphasizing that it reflects the evolving identity of the platform as a crypto companion for its user community.

CoinGecko also introduced two new mascots as part of the rebranding effort. Named Gekko and Rex, these characters are designed to embody key aspects of the crypto community. Gekko represents a playful and dependable side, while Rex is characterized as sharp and analytical, reflecting the innovative and resilient nature of crypto users.
