Smartphone-maker Samsung<\/b> heeft een cryptoasset-anti-witwasoplossing (AML) geïntegreerd om de beveiliging van zijn Blockchain-portemonnee, een functie van zijn nieuwste vlaggenschip-handsets, te verbeteren.<\/p>

Volgens<\/a> een blogpost van het Zuid-Koreaanse, in Singapore gevestigde softwarebedrijf Uppsala Security<\/b>, heeft het bedrijf een “Blockchain Service AML Integration Agreement”<\/i> getekend met Samsung en heeft zijn crypto AML-oplossingen “rechtstreeks gekoppeld” aan de Samsung Blockchain-service.<\/p>

De verhuizing, zei Uppsala, geeft Samsung-smartphonegebruikers toegang tot “realtime detectie van bedreigingen of pushmeldingen die worden geactiveerd door verdachte transacties.”<\/i><\/p>

Met de AML-oplossing kunnen gebruikers de status van crypto-portemonnee-adressen controleren voordat ze doorgaan met een overdracht – om te controleren of er interactie is met wallets die zijn gemarkeerd als mogelijke links naar hackers, oplichters of bekende darkweb-gebruikers.<\/p>

De oplossing heeft ook een volgsysteem voor klanten die denken dat ze het slachtoffer zijn geworden van fraude of hackpogingen, met controlerapporten die claims van Uppsala kunnen worden overgedragen aan wetshandhavingsinstanties voor gebruik als bewijs.<\/p>

Het lijkt er echter op dat voorlopig alleen klanten in geselecteerde Aziatische landen gebruik kunnen maken van de oplossing, waarbij Uppsala toevoegt:<\/p>

“The free service is currently provided to users in South Korea and Singapore only for the provision of a primary fund tracking report with one crypto wallet address.” <\/p><\/blockquote>

De move verdiept de Uppsala-Samsung-obligatie verder, waarbij de bedrijven eerder dit jaar hun voornemen aankondigden om een “crypto losses tracking system.”<\/a> <\/p>

Uppsala heeft ook samen met wetshandhavingsfirma’s en juridische experts gewerkt aan een oplossing waarmee politie- en gerechtsfunctionarissen cryptogeld kunnen in beslag nemen en bevriezen als onderdeel van strafrechtelijk onderzoek.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
