Volgens een nieuw onderzoek van <b>Endeavour<\/b> zijn tot nu toe in totaal 27 initi\u00eble muntaanbiedingen (ICO&#8217;s) uitgevoerd in Latijns-Amerika. Van dit aantal leidt Mexico met zeven, terwijl vijf ICO&#8217;s elk zijn uitgevoerd in Argentini\u00eb en Brazili\u00eb. De andere landen waar ICO&#8217;s zijn uitgevoerd zijn: Chili (4), Colombia (3), Peru (2) en Ecuador (1).<\/p><p>Het aantal is nog steeds relatief klein, maar per rapportage kwamen de eerste ICO&#8217;s in de regio pas onlangs aan het einde van het jaar en in de eerste paar maanden van 2018 op de markt.<\/p><p>Volgens media outlet Expansion, zegt het hoofd van de Mexicaanse crypto-startup <b>Woonkly<\/b> dat hij hoopt dat het advertentieplatform van het bedrijf &#8211; waarbij bedrijven gebruikers in Wookly&#8217;s eigen cryptocurrency betalen voor het bekijken van hun video&#8217;s &#8211; in het eerste kwartaal van start zal gaan 2019. De aankondiging komt nadat het bedrijf een investering van $3 miljoen ontving van een durfkapitaalgroep in de VAE, naast een niet-gespecificeerde investering van een in India gevestigde groep.<\/p><p>Een andere media-outlet, El Criptografo, zegt dat er in 2015 slechts 50 of meer geregistreerde fintech-bedrijven in Mexico waren, een aantal dat vorig jaar groeide naar 2400.
