China’s Center for Information Industry Development<\/b> (CCID), een organisatie die is gelieerd aan de Chinese centrale overheid, heeft een nieuwe offici\u00eble ranglijst uitgegeven van 30 cryptocurrencies in omloop waarbij EOS de hoogste cryptocurrency is.<\/p>

In het rapport staat EOS, het token van het EOS-blockchainplatform, voor het eerst bovenaan, terwijl de winnaar Ethereum van afgelopen maand de tweede plaats kreeg.<\/p>

Ondertussen is Bitcoin nu zeventiende, vier posities lager dan het vorige klassement.<\/p>

De ranglijst, die alleen in het Chinees is gepubliceerd, sloot EOS uit in de eerste editie die in mei van dit jaar werd gepubliceerd, en in plaats daarvan kreeg Ethereum de nummer 1-plek. Volgens een verklaring die is vrijgegeven bij de eerste editie van de ranglijst, is het doel van de rangorde om "de technologische mogelijkheden, het nut van de toepassing en de innovativiteit" van cryptocurrencies te evalueren.<\/p>

De nieuwe lijst van Top 10 cryptocurrencies bevat 5 nieuwe tokens, terwijl Komodo, Cardano, IOTA, Monero en Stratis hun plekje verloren hebben in deze lijst.<\/p>

\n9. Ripple<\/b>
\n10. Qtum<\/b><\/p>

Gezien de hoeveelheid kritiek die EOS ontving na de lancering van zijn mainnet eerder in juni, kwam de nummer 1-ranking waarschijnlijk als een verrassing voor veel cryptocurrency-volgers.<\/p>

Volgens het rapport was EOS nummer 1 vanwege de "uitstekende technische voordelen in transactiebevestigingseffici\u00ebntie, netwerkdoorvoer en transactiekosten."<\/p>

EOS ging op 15 juni live met hun langverwachte mainnet nadat ze maar liefst 4 miljard dollar hadden opgehaald via de langstlopende ICO uit de geschiedenis.<\/p>

Sinds de top in april van meer dan $20, heeft het EOS-token nu ongeveer twee derde van zijn waarde verloren, handelend vanaf ongeveer $7,80 vanaf de perstijd.<\/p>
