Het Chileense cryptocurrency-exchangeplatform Buda heeft een overwinning geboekt in zijn juridische strijd met twee van de grootste banken van het land.<\/p>

Zoals eerder gemeld<\/a> op Cryptonews.com<\/a>, liet Buda, samen met een andere exchange, hun rekeningen sluiten door een aantal grote banken, waardoor hun vermogen om zaken te doen in het land effectief werd opgeschort. <\/p>

Volgens rapporten van de Chileense media Teletrece en Diario Financiero, heeft het Hof van Defensie van de vrije competitie Banco del Estado de Chile en Itau Corpbanca opgedragen de rekeningen van Buda te heropenen terwijl het platform zijn juridische stappen tegen 10 van de banken in het land voortzet. Buda klaagt de banken aan voor wat het een “willekeurige” handelsbeperking noemt. Het platform hoopt de kosten terug te verdienen – en wil dat rechtbanken de banken bestoken met boetes.<\/p>

Banco del Estado had zijn beslissing gerechtvaardigd door het te zeggen “wil niet omgaan met bedrijven die zich toeleggen op de uitgifte of oprichting, bemiddeling of handel in zogenaamde cryptocurrencies.”<\/p>

Nadat de rechtbank het vonnis had uitgesproken, zei Buda in een verklaring: “We now hope to resume payments and withdrawals in pesos again as soon as possible, and normalize operations in the Chilean market. Our struggle is symbolic – it is the struggle of the entire [cryptocurrency] industry.
