Daarmee verschuift het bedrijf van een passieve ETH holder naar een actieve speler binnen het netwerk, terwijl het tegelijkertijd een extreme uitbreiding van het aantal uitstaande aandelen voorstelt. Zet dit de <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com\/nl\/news\/ethereum-koers-verwachting\/\">Ethereum koers<\/a> op langere termijn verder onder druk, of kan het juist als steun fungeren?<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BitMine zet in op actieve rol binnen Ethereum netwerk<\/h2><span class=\"replacer\"><\/span><p>BitMine heeft inmiddels ongeveer 544.000 ETH gestaket. Dat is ongeveer 13% van de totale Ethereum voorraad van het bedrijf, die boven de 4 miljoen ETH ligt. Door deze stap draait BitMine niet langer meer alleen mee als grote holder, maar ook als een validator binnen het <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com\/nl\/news\/visa-kiest-officieel-ethereum-blockchain-eth-de-beste-crypto-voor-begin-2026\/\">Ethereum netwerk<\/a>.<\/p><p>Staking betekent dat Ethereum wordt vastgezet om transacties te valideren. In ruil daarvoor ontvangt het bedrijf beloningen in ETH. Daarmee verandert Ethereum op de BitMine bedrijfsbalans van een stil bezit in een actief productief onderdeel van het bedrijfsmodel. Hij wil het aantal toegestane aandelen van 500 miljoen naar 50 miljard verhogen. Volgens hem is dit nodig om toekomstige stock splits mogelijk te maken en de koers rond de $25 te houden.<\/p><p>In de praktijk geeft deze structuur BitMine ruimte om continu nieuwe aandelen te verkopen via zogeheten At The Market uitgiftes. Met dit kapitaal kan het bedrijf weer extra Ethereum kopen. Dat werkt vooral goed wanneer het aandeel boven de nettowaarde van de ETH cryptomunten op de balans handelt.<\/p><p>Het risico is duidelijk. Bestaande aandeelhouders kunnen worden verwaterd. Tegelijkertijd positioneert BitMine zich steeds meer als een hefboom op de Ethereum koers.
