Dit zou worden gevolgd door andere aanvragen voor Ethereum-futures ETF&#8217;s, merkte Balchunas op. Hij voegde eraan toe dat dit &#8220;een spannende race&#8221; gaat worden.<\/p>\n<p>Bovendien zeiden ze dat de eerste ETF, dat uitsluitend Ethereum-futures aanbiedt, afkomstig zou zijn van Volatility Shares. &#8220;Hun aanvraag wordt naar verwachting op 11 oktober goedgekeurd, waardoor een lancering op 12 oktober mogelijk is.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Toch zullen niet alle voorgestelde Ethereum-futures ETF&#8217;s worden gelanceerd. Naast Valkyrie en Volatility Shares zijn er 15 Ethereum ETF-voorstellen ingediend door negen uitgevende instellingen.<\/p>\n<p>Deze omvatten aanvragen van bedrijven zoals VanEck, ProShares, Grayscale, Bitwise, Direxion en Roundhill.<\/p>\n<h2>Beslissing komt mogelijke voor sluiting van Amerikaanse overheid<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"replacer\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"flex-shrink-0 flex flex-col relative items-end\">\n<div class=\"text-xs flex items-center justify-center gap-1 absolute left-0 top-2 -ml-4 -translate-x-full gizmo:top-1 gizmo:-ml-6 invisible\">In een update op 28 september schreef Balchunas dat de Amerikaanse SEC de lancering van Ethereum-futures ETF&#8217;s wilde versnellen. Dit lijkt een steeds grotere mogelijkheid te worden.<\/p>\n<p>Verder schreef de analist dat de toezichthouder verschillende aanvragers heeft gevraagd om hun documenten voor vrijdagmiddag bij te werken. Dit heeft als reden dat ze er dan maandag mee aan de slag kunnen.
