Hosted by member of the European Parliament, Antanas Guoga, in cooperation with Blockchain Centre Vilnius and the diplomatic representations to the European Union, the conference “Blockchain – The Game Changer of the 4th Industrial Revolution” aims to discuss blockchain and cryptocurrency trends in different regions as well as to get a full picture of the blockchain technology in today’s global scene.

According to organizers, diplomatic missions from across the globe will come together and share their insights to bring the blockchain economy into a higher focus for global influencers, top decision makers, leaders in business, researchers and other relevant stakeholders.

“At the Intercontinental Blockchain Conference we will try to understand where we are – which nations are upfront, where we are behind and where can we apply ourselves or regulate progressively for a global growth and embracement of innovations for the benefit of humanity,’’ Guoga said.

Among speakers and attendees are Greg Van de Bergh, CEO of Bankorus, a partner of the event, David Siegel, CEO of the Pillar Project, Kristof Van de Reck, interim president of NEM.io Foundation, Louis de Bruin, Blockchain Leader at IBM Europe, European Central Bank representative Dirk Bullman and others.
