There are over four million NFT assets on OpenSea and potentially millions more on other platforms such as Rarible, LooksRare, SuperRare, and NBA Top Shot. However, the majority of the projects are here to capitalize on the hoopla and earn fast money. Only a few of the projects have utility in the real world and the upcoming metaverse.

Those NFTs that have utility for the future metaverse are flourishing on Twitter, with individuals pouring millions of dollars into them. So, in this post, we’ll look at the five best NFT projects that are defining the future of the metaverse.

Decentraland

Decentraland is one of the earliest platforms that is shaping the future of metaverse with its open virtual environment built on NFTs. The platform allows users to explore, create, socialize, and trade digital items, including lands, as NFTs. It is one of the earliest projects that used NFTs to pave the way for the metaverse. In fact, it has already built its own metaverse-like structure that users may explore through their avatars. These avatars and their variations are represented in NFTs. Decentraland was one of the first projects to kick off the NFT metaverse revolution.

Property’s Virtual Realty

Property’s Virtual Reality is the most innovative NFT-based real estate game developed to fuel the metaverse. The project seeks to deliver an experience never seen before – on and off the metaverse – by combining the mechanics of the world’s most popular games. Each NFT is a collectible card depicting a piece of real estate influenced by many cultures and economies. Property has been frantically forming alliances with other companies and NFT groups in the run-up to their debut. One such collaboration is with the Crypto Baristas, which will showcase Crypto Barista-themed coffee shops and carts around the area in the Property’s game.

MetaKawn

MetaKawn is  a one-of-a-kind project that has entered the metaverse with a unique idea of reaching those who share Islamic values. The platform intends to make its debut in the industry with its HUFFAZ NFTs — a collection of 6,348 avatars that will represent a generation of modern muslims from all over the world, with gender equality. The project will also power the community with various utilities including VIP access, governance club, access to specific fan communities, and supporting creators.

Samurai Doge

Samurai Doge is a unique NFT project that is bringing animation into the metaverse. It is a collection of 10,000 animated Samurai NFTs that represents the avatars for the metaverse. The project is being touted as the “new Axie Infinity.” Moreover, the developers of the game say that the owners of genesis Samurai Doges can claim one 3D Samurai Doge, which will be viewable on the project’s AR app. The project will also launch a battlefield game where owners may compete with their Samurai Doge NFTs against other owners.

The Future of NFTs

The NFT market is rapidly evolving. Every day, new NFT initiatives are springing up. The trends have been in steady expansion and the future depicted by these NFT patterns is intriguing. Similarly, with platforms like MetaKawn making strides, it is evident that NFTs are going to stay. The project’s uniqueness and utility are unquestionably a solid indicator of long-term viability.

Moreover, its vision of supporting muslim creators along with empowering Islamic communities is commendable. By leveraging NFTs and the metaverse, the project is laying the foundation for a better future for Generation of modern muslims.  While some people are concerned about the ramifications of the metaverse and the emergence of AI, projects like MetaKawn are striving hard to build a promising future. It’s a future that bridges the gap between consumers and creators, adds value and security to digital assets, and, for better or worse, will be here to stay.
