Digital Entertainment Asset to Introduce Manga Artists Fujiwara’s NFT Collection “The Land”

Singapore-based Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA) is bringing “The Land,” an NFT collection from the legendary manga artist Fujiwara Kamui, who made his way into the manga space in 1981 with Babel no Rakuen, to the PlayMining Metaverse project. “The Land” will be introduced on DEA’s PlayMining in spring 2022.
DEA is no novice to the crypto industry and operates the fastest growing NFT platform in the GameFi space, the PlayMining Metaverse project. PlayMining is powered by DEAcoin, which is the native token of PlayMining Metaverse. With over 2.3 million users in the South East Asian countries like Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia, PlayMining is already a big player in the GameFi domain. As for its mission, PlayMining leverages the fundamentals of GameFi to bring both content creators and users to the same table through its platform.
Founded in 2018, DEA introduced its native coin DEAcoin in 2020, which was listed on the OKX cryptocurrency exchange. Then, the company soon launched a trading card-based game, JobTribes, which was DEA’s first game. Its next project was the “NFT Marketplace by DEP.”
So, What’s “The Land” all About?
This NFT project is a part of Fujiwara Kamui’s metaverse project known as the Fujiwara Kamui Nation, which is already a part of the PlayMining metaverse project. Anyone who buys any of the NFTs from “The Land” collection will also receive citizenship of the Fujiwara Kamui Nation. Its USP is that in this magical land, gods and goddesses will work along with humans to build an ideal world. Its concept can be summed up as the “Genesis of the Earth, a world where gods and goddesses coexist with humans.”
Speaking about the huge potential of Fujiwara Kamui’s “The Land” NFT project, DEA’s spokesperson said:
“We are convinced that the Metaverse project is unique and unparalleled in its focus on the creativity of creators, coming from Japan, one of the world’s leading creator-producing countries. The sale of the Land NFT is an important step in realizing DEA’s vision of protecting the rights and sharing the benefits of creators.”
Who is Fujiwara Kamui?
Fujiwara Kamui is a big name in the manga space, which he entered with his first professional manga Babel no Rakuen back in 1981. It turned out to be a big hit due to Fujiwara’s detailed artwork in it, and soon, he became quite successful with almost all his published works turning out to be a crowd puller. His best work includes Emblem of Roto, written by Kawamata Chaki, Raika, written by Terashima Yu, and Seirei no Moribito, written by Uehashi Nahoko.
