The Assembly Announce NFT Partnership with Industry Giant, Ghostpunch Games, LLC

Renowned for following in the footsteps of pioneers in the NFT gaming industry, The Assembly proudly announced on their Discord server this week of their new partnership with gaming giant, Ghostpunch Games, LLC. This partnership is set to further their vision of becoming a major contributor to the blockchain revolution and web 3.0 by merging de-fi, gaming, and quality collectible art.

The partnership: Creating the perfect storm in the gaming metaverse

Ghostpunch Games is an independent, AAA game development studio based in South Florida. Their team of gaming industry veterans have worked with some of the most successful companies in the industry including Sony, Atari, EA, Sega, Nickelodeon, 2K, and Infinity Ward; on franchises including Call of Duty, League of Legends, Borderlands, Mortal Kombat, Duke Nukem, Bioshock, Ratchet and Clank, Medal of Honor and more. 

The Assembly is certain this partnership is set to create the perfect storm in the gaming metaverse, stating “there is nobody we trust more to help us build The Assembly Metaverse.”

Ghostpunch Games have already commenced working on The Assembly’s final Game Design Document, which will outline every feature of the game in detail before development commences. Its expected completion is in approximately one month.

The collection and artwork, representing “Legendary Historical Figures”

The Assembly have created digital tokens that represent legendary historical figures including Julius Caesar and Ragnar Lothbrok. Tokens for these characters are sold on a blockchain platform to verify ownership. The foundation collection minting period takes place from December 2021 to March 2022, with “Vol. 2: The Vikings” minting in early February.

The artwork has been designed by experienced gaming artists Micheal Oviedo and Isai Oviedo, whose collective experience includes work with Cartoon Network, Nick Jr, Puma, Atlantic Records, and Warner Music. There are 1000 pieces of artwork in each collection, with “Vol. 2: The Vikings” available to mint in early February.
