한은, 4분기에 실제 테스트 목표로<\/strong><\/h2>

<\/span>지난해 10월에 한국은행은 금융위원회, 금융감독원 등 최고 권위의 금융 당국과 함께 “CBDC 활용성 테스트” 추진 계획을 발표했다. <\/span>입법자들은 CBDC와 비트코인 등의 암호화폐를 구별하기 위한 법률도 마련했다. <\/span>한은은 ‘CBDC 네트워크’를 시범 구축하기 위한 계획을 제시하며 “기관용 CBDC 모델”에 따라 세 가지 유형의 토큰을 발행하고 유통할 계획이라고 전했다. <\/span>계획에 의하면 한국은행은 “예금 토큰” 유형의 통화와 “이머니 토큰” 유형의 토큰을 발행하고 유통한다. 또한 올해 4분기에 시범 사업을 시작한다고 설명했다. <\/span><\/p>

2024년에 실제 테스트 시작 예정<\/strong><\/h2>

<\/span>은행은 또한 일반 국민과 함께 실거래 테스트를 진행할 예정이다. 참여자는 상거래에서 직접 CBDC를 사용해보게 된다. <\/span>그러나 일부 전문가는 한국은행이 CBDC를 출시할 경우 국내 핀테크 산업 및 은행 산업에 위협이 될 수 있다고 지적했다. <\/span>서지용 상명대학교 경영학부 교수는 CBDC가 국내에서 “사용화되기까지 시간이 걸릴 것”이라고 언급했다. <\/span>또한 “<\/span>우선 CBDC 사업이 더욱 구체화 되면 민간기업도 이에 대응한 사업을 준비할 가능성이 있다”라고 주장했다. <\/span>실제로 일부 회사들이 정확히 그러한 작업을 하고 있다. 국내 주요 테크 회사와 은행들은 몇 년 전부터 CBDC 사업을 추진했다. 서 교수는 다음과 같이 말했다:<\/span><\/p>

한은 관계자는 “<\/span>기존 카드 거래 등은 수수료가 발생하다 보니 가맹점은 CBDC를 활용한 거래로 수수료를 절감할 수 있다”라고 부연했다. <\/span><\/p>

CBDC의 최종 승자는 가맹점?<\/strong><\/h2>

<\/span>CBDC 사업을 가속 추진 중인 일부 다른 국가에서도 비슷한 반응이 나왔다. <\/span>러시아의 경우, 금융 애널리스트가 국내 가맹점이 CBDC의 승자가 될 것이라고 주장했다. <\/span>그는 은행 산업의 경우 디지털 루브화가 상용화된다면 연간 5억 3,600만 달러의 손실이 발생할 수 있다고 말했다. <\/span>그러나 한은 관계자는  기존 산업에 위협이 되는 것이 목표가 아니라고 하며 다음과 같이 말했다:<\/span><\/p>
