블록체인 전문 매체 코인데스크<\/a>에 의하면 뱅크먼-프리드의 변호인단 중 한 명인 크리스천 에버델(Christian Everdell)은 “고객의 시간을 효율적으로 활용하지 못하고 있습니다. 그의 보석이 필요한 때입니다.”라고 말했다.<\/p>

그러나 뉴욕 남부 지구 법원 판사 루이스 캐플란은 최근의 심리에서 보석을 거부했다.<\/p>

대신 그는 다음 주 화요일까지 구치소 환경에 대한 양 측의 소견서를 제출을 요청했으며 해당 소견서를 통해 임시 보석 여부를 결정할 것이라고 말했다.<\/p>

뱅크먼-프리드는 증인 변조 혐의로 보석이 취소된 후 뉴욕 시의 메트로폴리탄 구치소로 송치<\/a>되었다.<\/p>

송치 전에 뱅크먼-프리드는 2억 5,000만 달러의 보석금을 내고 캘리포니아 주의 부모님 집에 머물고 있다.\n<\/p>

정부, ‘수백만’ 개 증거 문서 증거 제출<\/h2>

\n피고측은 또한 정부가 수백만 개의 문서 증거를 제출한 시점에 대해 불만을 표했다. 뱅크먼-프리드가 구금 상태여서 제대로 해당 증거를 검토할 수 없다고 주장했다.<\/p>

캐플란 판사는 7월 1일 이후에 제출된 문서를 제외하는 요청을 거부하며 검토에 더 많은 시간이 필요한 경우 재판 연기를 신청할 수 있다고 제안했다.\n<\/p>

\n이번 심리는 뱅크먼-프리드의 노트북 배터리 수명 및 인터넷 접속 등 구치소 환경이 쟁점이었다.<\/p>

검사측은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 해결책을 모색 중이라고 주장했지만 피고측은 제안된 해결책이 충분하지 못하다고 말했다.<\/p>
