오픈씨 측에 따르면 회사가 정책을 변경한 데에는 세 가지 이유가 존재한다. <\/p>

우선 오퍼레이터 필터에 관한 커뮤티니 지원이 부족하다고 주장하며 “성공적이려면 생태계의 모두에게 지원받아야 했지만, 그러하지 못했다”라고 전했다. <\/p>

두 번째로 오픈씨는 “창작자 수수료에 관한 결정권”은 NFT 컬렉터와 크리에이터 모두에게 중요한 원칙이라고 주장했다. 또한 NFT에 관한 전적인 소유권이 소유주가 간섭 없이 “작품을 보유하고, 판매하고, 파괴할” 권한을 의미해야 한다고 말했다. <\/p>

마지막으로 오픈씨는 창작자 수수료가 NFT 크리에이터가 활용할 수 있는 수많은 수익원 중 하나에 불과하다고 했다. <\/p>

오픈씨는 “생태계에서 우리의 역할은 단일한 사용 사례나 사업 모델을 넘어서는 혁신을 불러오는 것”이라고 덧붙였다. <\/p>

오픈씨는 오랫동안 NFT 트레이딩 분야에서 시장을 지배한 우세한 마켓플레이스였다. 디앱레이더 데이터에 따르면 오늘 30일 거래량 기준으로 오픈씨가 두 번째로 큰 마켓플레이스이다. <\/p>
