코인베이스<\/u><\/a>가 수요일에 드디어 이더리움 레이어2 블록체인 베이스(BASE)를 정식으로 출시했다. <\/p>

이로써 미국 최대 암호화폐 거래소 코인베이스가 비규제 영역에 들어가게 되었다. <\/p>

코인베이스는 세계에서 크립토 기업 중 가장 큰 상장 회사로 시가 총액이 200억 달러를 상회한다. 회사는 올해 초에 개발자가 실험해보고 개발할 수 있는 개발자용 버전을 출시한 바 있다. <\/p>

이제 베이스는 대중에 완전히 공개되었으며 코인베이스에서 베이스를 감독하는 총괄 제스 폴락(Jesse Pollak)은 이미 100개 이상의 디앱이 운영되고 있다고 밝혔다. <\/p>

폴락은 코인베이스의 베이스 출시가 투기에 집중되어 있는 가상화폐를 “사람들의 일상 생활”에 통합된 무언가로 만들기 위한 계획의 일부라고 설명했다. <\/p>

임원진은 과거에 베이스를 회사의 새로운 수익원으로 본다고 발언했으며 단지 블록체인 운영에서뿐만이 아니라 그 위에 개발된 디앱으로부터 수익을 창출할 것이라 설명했다. <\/p>

코인베이스는 베이스의 출시를 홍보하기 위해 “온체인 축제“를 진행하고 있다. <\/p>

”온체인 썸머“의 하나로, 코카콜라를 비롯한 여러 브랜드가 베이스에서 NFT를 발행하게 되며 100 ETH 이상이 베이스 개발자에게 지급될 예정이다. <\/p>

베이스는 어떻게 다른 레이어2 경쟁자와 대적할 수 있게 되었나?<\/strong><\/h2><\/span>

암호화폐 분석 플랫폼 L2Beat<\/u><\/a>에 의하면 베이스는 이미 총예치금(TVL)이 1억 4,000만 달러로 이더리움 레이어2 솔루션 중 규모가 5위에 이른다. <\/p>

즉 출시된 지 몇 시간 만에 이미 1억 4,000만 달러 상당의 가상 자산이 네트워크 스마트 계약에 예치된 것이다. <\/p>

L2Bea<\/a>t에 따르면 베이스의 TVL은 지난 7일 동안 65% 급증해 이더리움 레이어2 블록체인 중 가장 가파른 증가세를 보였다. <\/p>

이더리움 L2 체인 중에서는 아비트럼 원이 선두를 유지하고 있으며 TVL이 60억 달러 이상이다. 옵티미즘의 OP 메인넷이 2위로 총예치금이 30억 달러에 근접한다. <\/p>

zkSync Er<\/a>a와 dYdX이 각각 3,4위이며 TVL이 각각 4억 2,900만 달러와 3억 3,600만 달러이다. <\/p>

하지만 현재 성장 속도대로라면 베이스가 곧 추월할 가능성이 크다. <\/p>

베이스는 옵티미즘의 OP 스택 코드 베이스로 구축되었다. 따라서 베이스의 성장과 함께 OP 메인넷과 광범위한 옵티미즘 생태계도 함께 성장할 수 있다. <\/p>
