세계 최대 암호화폐 거래소 바이낸스(Binance)가 최근 일본에서 자회사를 출범해 모든 서비스를 제공할 준비가 드디어 되었다고 발표했다. <\/p>

해당 소식은 거래소의 창업자 창펑 자오(Changpeng Zhao)가 직접 도쿄에서 진행된 컨퍼런스에서 영상 회의를 통해 전했다. <\/p>

자오는 일본 시장 서비스를 2023년 8월부터 온전히 시작할 것이라고 밝혔다. <\/p>

바이낸스, 일본 자회사 설립으로 일본 시장에 온전한 서비스 공급<\/strong><\/h2><\/span>

2023년 5월에 바이낸스는 일본에 신규 플랫폼을 출시한다는 계획을 밝혔다. 플랫폼은 지역의 규제를 준수하며 일본 사용자에게 서비스를 제공하기 위해 설계되었다. <\/p>

하지만 거래소는 아직 일본 시장에 모든 서비스를 공급하려면 시간이 걸릴 것이라고 언급했다. <\/p>

회사는 2022년 11월에 사쿠라 거래소 비트코인(Sakura Exchange BitCoin)을 인수한 덕분에 일본 시장에 진출할 수 있었다. <\/p>

기업에서 새로운 시장에 진출할 때 지역 회사를 인수하는 방식은 흔히 사용된다. <\/p>

사쿠라 거래소 비트코인은 바이낸스에게 일본 시장 진출 기회를 제공했고, 거래소는 바로 기회를 잡았다. <\/p>

일본 시장 진출은 아시아 입지를 굳히겠다는 바이낸스의 발전 방향에서 다음 단계를 대변한다. <\/p>

회사는 이미 태국, 대한민국 등의 시장에 진출하려고 비슷한 활동을 했다. <\/p>

하지만 이와 동시에 바이낸스는 여러 국가로부터 규제적 압박에 시달렸으며 특히나 서방 세계에서의 압박이 두드러졌다. <\/p>

거래소는 미국에서 6월 초에 코인베이스와 함께 기소당했다. 네덜란드와 벨기에 역시 플랫폼 서비스를 허용하지 않았다. <\/p>

유럽 최대 경제 대국 독일조차 바이낸스에게 사업 운영 허가를 승인하지 않았다. <\/p>

한편 프랑스에서는 검찰이 자금 세탁 혐의로 거래소의 사무실을 수색했다. <\/p>

바이낸스, 일본에서 스테이블코인 출시 시도<\/strong><\/h2><\/span>

서방 국가에서 어려움을 겪은 바이낸스는 동쪽에서 승부를 보려고 노력하고 있다. <\/p>

일본 지사 총괄 관리자 타케시 치노<\/u><\/a>(Takeshi Chino)는 컨퍼런스에서 바이낸스가 일본 시장에서 스테이블코인을 출시할 수 있다고 공개했다. <\/p>

일본에서 스테이블코인을 출시하는 과정은 녹록지 않다. 일본은 스테이블코인법<\/u><\/a>을 제정해 2023년 6월 1일부터 시행했다. <\/p>

스테이블코인법에 따르면 일본에서 허가받은 은행, 등록된 송금 서비스 회사 및 신탁 회사만 스테이블코인을 발행할 수 있다. <\/p>

자오의 후계자로 간주하는 리처드 탱(Richard Teng) 역시 도쿄 컨퍼런스에 참여했다. <\/p>

탱은 지역 총괄을 담당하며 컨퍼런스에서 전통 금융 회사의 가상화폐 관심이 많이증가했다는 신호가 보인다고 언급했다.
