최근 약세장이 지속되고 있는 가운데, 암호화폐 시장은 여러 국가에서 규제 당국으로부터 강한 압박을 받고 있다. <\/p>

미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)의 지속적인 규제 활동은 주목할 만한 사례에 해당한다.<\/p>

SEC는 코인베이스(Coinbase), 크라켄(Kraken), 팍소스(Paxos), 리플(Ripple), 비트렉스(Bittrex) 등의 암호화폐 기업들에 대해 모니터링, 경고 조치와 더불어 필요에 따라서는 소송을 제기하고 있다.<\/p>

그러나 규제에 적극적으로 나서고 있는 국가는 미국 만이 아니다. 미국 외에도 여러 나라들이 암호화폐 산업의 활동을 규제하기 위해 규제 체계를 도입하는 흐름에 합류하고 있다.<\/p>

홍콩, 유럽, 미국 등 암호화폐 산업을 규제에 나서다     <\/h2><\/span>

탈중앙화에 역행하는 규제 조치들에 대해 암호화폐 산업계에서는 회의적인 반응을 보이고 있지만, 해킹, 부당한 이용, 투자 손실 등의 문제들은 여러 나라들이 규제에 나서지 않을 수 없게 하는 요인이 되고 있다.<\/p>

예를 들어, 유럽연합은 암호화폐 산업의 활동을 규제하기 위해 가상자산시장(MiCA) 법안을 도입하기로 결정했다.<\/p>

지난 5월 16일 화요일에, EU 이사회가 MiCA 법안을 최종 승인<\/a>함으로써 입법 절차가 완료되었다.<\/p>

이 법안은 지난 4월에 유럽의회의 승인을 받은 바 있으며, 이번 최종 승인 절차가 완료됨에 따라, 2024년 7월부터 법안이 발효될 예정이다.<\/p>

또한, IOSCO(International Organization of Securities Commissions)는 암호화폐 산업을 진흥하기 위한 명확한 규제 체계의 도입을 위해 일반 대중을 상대로 정책 권고안<\/a>에 대한 의견을 취합하고 있다.<\/p>
