米ドル連動型のステーブルコイン「USDC」を発行するサークル社は15日、ソニーグループとStartale Labsの合併会社「Sony Block Solutions Labs（ソニーSBL）」との協業を発表した。<\/a><\/p>

この動きの一環として、ソニーSBLの開発するイーサリアム（ETH）<\/a>のレイヤー2ネットワーク「Soneium」上で、ステーブルコインUSDCを利用できるようにするという。<\/p>

展開当初は、ブリッジ版のUSDCとなる。将来的には、ネイティブ版のUSDCへのアップデートも可能になるという。\n<\/p>

\n「Soneium」とは、ゲーム、金融、非代替性トークン（NFT）など幅広い分野のアプリケーションが構築でき、Web3.0技術の大衆化を目指すインフラ技術だ。<\/p>

8月末には、テストネット「Soneium Minato」が公開され、イーサリアムのテストネット（Sepolia）との通信も可能となっている。<\/p>

ブリッジ版のUSDCは、ネイティブ版のUSDCと同等の価値を持ちながら、Ethereum Virtual Machine（EVM）互換性を持つブロックチェーンに展開できるトークンだ。<\/p>
