米大手資産運用会社のフランクリン・テンプルトンは16日、ビットコイン（BTC）とイーサリアム（ETH）へ投資を行う「Franklin Crypto Index ETF（EZPZ）」を米証券取引委員会（SEC）に申請した。<\/a><\/p>

この上場投資信託（ETF）は、各暗号資産（仮想通貨）<\/a>の時価総額に基づいて算出された比重に合わせて、投資および保有を行う予定だ。<\/p>

資産の保管業者は仮想通貨取引所<\/a>コインベース傘下の「Coinbase Custody Trust Company」、上場する証券取引所はシカゴの「CBOE」を予定している。<\/p>

BTCとETHの価格は、それぞれ執筆時点ではほぼ横ばいの動きを見せている。\n<\/p>

ハッシュデックスに続く動き<\/h2>

\n今回の「複合型ETF」の申請は、ブラジルの仮想通貨投資会社のHashdex（ハッシュデックス）が6月、「Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF」の上場申請に続く動きだ。<\/p>

このETFは、「Nasdaq Crypto US 決済価格指数（NCIUSS）」を追跡しながら、BTC（70.54％）とETH（29.46％）を保有する商品となる。<\/p>

ただしSECは8月頭、このETFに対する決定を2024年9月30日まで延長することを発表した。\n<\/p>

将来的には、新たな資産を追加<\/h2>

<\/span><\/p>

\nフランクリン・テンプルトンやハッシュデックスの「複合型ETF」がSECからの承認を得られれば、将来的には他の仮想通貨も保有対象として追加することが可能となっている。<\/p>

また、ビットコイン（1月承認）やイーサリアム（5月承認）に続く仮想通貨の現物ETFの誕生も期待されている。<\/p>

今回のETFの上場先としても指定される米証券取引所CBOEは7月、資産運用会社2社（VanEckと21Shares）が提供する予定とするソラナ（SOL）の現物ETFの上場を申請した。<\/p>
