3月には、イーサリアム2.0について調査を行っていることを明かし、仮想通貨ウォレット大手メタマスクを開発するConsensysや証券アプリ大手ロビンフッドなどへ訴訟を事前通告する「ウェルズ通知」を送っていた。<\/p>

しかしConsensysは、不当にイーサリアムを有価証券として分類しようとしているとして同機関を訴訟した。<\/p>

また、5月にイーサリアムの現物ETFを承認したことを受け、ETHのカテゴリーの明確化などを求める書類を送った。<\/p>
