Google è da sempre considerato uno dei grandi investitori del mondo crypto. Secondo un rapporto distribuito da Blockdata<\/strong>, Google Alphabet<\/strong> è una delle società ad avere investito di più negli ultimi anni nel segmento Blockchain, con quasi 1,5 miliardi di dollari spesi per acquisire società come Fireblocks<\/strong>, Dapper Labs<\/strong>, Bitcoin Voltage<\/strong> e Digital Currency Group<\/strong>. Di seguito alcuni tra i progetti più interessanti per il 2022.<\/a><\/p>

Senza contare che tra i valori dell’azienda americana, anche se non sempre, spiccano lo sviluppo open source<\/strong> e la decentralizzazione<\/strong>.<\/p>

Silenzio, parla Google Cloud<\/h2><\/span>

Secondo Richard Widmann, <\/strong>Cloud’s Head of Strategy for Digital Assets in Google, che ha recentemente rilasciato un’intervista video al sito americano Decrypt<\/strong>, l’azienda americana potrebbe diventare un punto di riferimento per il Web3<\/strong>.  <\/p>

Google Cloud sta provando a costruire un in gigantesco ponte tra Web2 e Web3,<\/strong> ovvero tra Blockchain<\/strong> e servizi Cloud<\/strong>, che potrebbero includere anche i cosiddetti “nodi”. Quelli di Google, in particolare, dovranno essere abbastanza decentralizzati da poter resistere a problemi sulla rete Internet, anche in caso di eventi mondiali straordinari.<\/p>

Le criptovalute sono altamente volatili e non regolamentate. Nessuna tutela del consumatore. Potrebbe essere applicata una tassa sugli utili.<\/i><\/p>

La decentralizzazione è la chiave<\/h2><\/span>

Assicurare nodi decentralizzati e quindi indipendenti<\/strong>, è un requisito fondamentale per la buona riuscita dell’operazione, considerando anche la grande influenza sul Web2 di aziende come la stessa Google o di un colosso come Amazon<\/strong>.  La neutralità dei giganti del tech è dunque un requisito fondamentale anche se non sarà facile farla rispettare<\/strong>. Le grandi aziende potrebbero infatti cercare di sfruttare la loro influenza per controllare parte del sistema. Secondo Widmann,<\/strong> Google Cloud sta comunque procedendo nella giusta direzione. Rimarrà “indipendente”, lasciando che i protocolli che interagiranno sulle sue infrastrutture competano liberamente tra loro.<\/p>
