Tether<\/strong>, la società che emette la più grande stablecoin <\/strong>con ancoraggio all’USD, USDT<\/strong><\/a>, ha affermato di condannare quelle che chiama “voci<\/strong> false” secondo cui le sue partecipazioni includono grandi quantità di commercial paper cinese, che presumibilmente vengono scambiate con uno sconto. La società ha anche preso le distanze dalle voci relative a <\/i>Celsius (CEL) <\/i><\/a>e Three Arrows Capital.<\/i><\/p>

Tether: “Queste voci sono completamente false<\/strong> “<\/h2><\/span>

In una dichiarazione pubblicata mercoledì sul sito web di Tether, la società ha affermato <\/a>di essere “consapevole della diffusione di voci secondo cui il suo portafoglio di commercial paper è supportato per l’85% da commercial paper cinesi o asiatici e viene scambiato con uno sconto del 30%”.<\/p>

“Queste voci sono completamente false e probabilmente si diffondono per indurre ulteriore panico al fine di generare profitti aggiuntivi da un mercato già stressato”, ha affermato la società, aggiungendo che “condanna tali tentativi” di manipolare i prezzi di mercato.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Tether ha inoltre indicato il suo ultimo parere di assurance come prova di ciò in cui sono composte le sue riserve. Secondo il documento<\/a>, al 31 marzo circa il 47% delle riserve di USDT erano US Treasury, mentre le commercial paper costituiscono circa il 25% delle riserve.<\/p>

L’azienda ha aggiunto che dall’ultimo parere di assurance, le sue disponibilità di commercial paper sono state ulteriormente ridotte e ha affermato che “diminuiranno gradualmente fino a zero”.<\/p>

“Tutti i commercial paper stanno scadendo e saranno trasferiti nei Treasury statunitensi con una breve scadenza”, si legge nella nota.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Inoltre, l’azienda ha anche affrontato le voci secondo cui avrebbe un’esposizione a Celsius, una società di prestito di criptovalute che ha interrotto i prelievi dopo essere stata sottoposta a pressioni, e Three Arrows Capital, un importante hedge fund di criptovalute che si dice sia insolvente<\/a>.<\/p>

“Tether ha attualmente un’esposizione zero a Celsius a parte un piccolo investimento realizzato con il capitale di Tether nella società”, afferma la dichiarazione, aggiungendo che le voci sulla sua esposizione a Three Arrows Capital sono “categoricamente false”.<\/p><\/blockquote>
