SafeGuard Cyber ha affermato<\/a> che c’è un nuovo malware<\/strong> su Telegram, <\/strong>soprannominato Elcheron<\/i>, che si unisce a gruppi focalizzati sulle criptovalute<\/strong> nel tentativo di rubare wallet crypto <\/strong>e credenziali dell’account.<\/p>

Secondo il rapporto, il malware viene distribuito tra i gruppi di Telegram da un utente di nome “Smokes Night”, che diffonde il malware rilasciando un file infetto nelle chat room senza commenti.<\/p>

SafeGuard ha spiegato che “il campione di Echelon, che abbiamo analizzato, prende di mira credenziali, wallet crypto e ha alcune capacità di rilevamento delle impronte digitali”. Ciò consente all’aggressore di accedere agli asset crypto delle vittime.<\/p>

Tuttavia, il malware tenta anche di accedere e rubare le credenziali da più piattaforme di messaggistica, FTP (File Transfer Protocol) e VPN (Virtual Private Network), che possono essere utilizzate per attacchi di ingegneria sociale in futuro.<\/p>

Tuttavia, gli utenti possono applicare alcune impostazioni rapide per migliorare la sicurezza.<\/p>

In primo luogo, devono disabilitare il download automatico dei media e attivare altre impostazioni sulla privacy, come limitare determinate opzioni solo ai contatti.<\/p>
